Well, here is a perfect answer to this. We can store it for a week or two but not like stores. You might know the reason for this. Exactly, at home, we will never use any preservatives to store ice cream for a year.

Making best vanilla ice cream at home is a simple easy method of adding milk, milk powder, sugar and cornflour into it. Adding essence in the mixture will give you the best vanilla flavor and that will create a happy feeling on your mind.

  • Use full cream milk to get creamy ice cream.
  • Take a thick based pan to boil the milk.
  • Use a mixer jar to grind it.
  • Keep it in the freezer overnight to get set well.

  • ½ L full creamed milk
  • 4 tsp milk powder
  • 2 tsp cornflour
  • 100g sugar
  • 2 tsp Vanilla essence

Follw the below steps to make homemade vanilla ice cream

  1. To start making our homemade vanilla ice cream, we should do some precooking procedures without any mess.
  2. Add 4 tsp of milk powder and mix it with 2 tbsp of milk in a bowl
  3. Add 2 tsp of cornflour with 2 tbsp of milk in another bowl to mix it without any lumps
  4. Take a thick base pan and add 1/2 L full cream milk and make it to boil
  5. Boil the milk, until it reduces to ¼ L
  6. Gradually add the milk powder mix into the milk and dissolve it. Next, add the cornflour mix into the milk mixture.
  7. Be careful, while adding cornflour mix to the milk mixture. Its consistency will become thicker while adding it to the flame.
  8. Finally, add 100g of sugar into the mixture and dilute it.
  9. Remove it from the flame once the mixture becomes thicker in its nature.
  10. Cool the mixture at room temperature for 20 minutes.
  11. Now add the cold mixture into a mixer jar and grind it well.
  12. It will become fluffier while it gets mixed in the jar.
  13. Add it into the airtight container and cover it with silver foil (optional) and lid.
  14. Now store it into the freezer for 3 hours.
  15. Take it out from the freezer in the next 3 hours and add it to the jar again to grind well.
  16. By doing this procedure, we will get a creamy ice cream we have ever eaten.
  17. Now repeat the procedure. Add the mixture to the airtight container and close it with silver foil and lid.
  18. Store it in the freezer for 8 hours/overnight to get set well.
  19. Freezing overnight is better to serve our ice cream chill.
  20. Serve it with roasted nuts and cherry to explore ice cream lovers.
