Nutrition Rich Homemade Whole Wheat Bread

Wholemeal or Whole wheat bread is an awesome type of bread which is purely made of its flour grained from the mill. Instead of getting a bread at your nearby shop which is made of all-purpose flour, you can try making it with whole nutrients rich product at your home.

Time : Total Timing – 3 hours and 25 minutes (Mixing 15 min, Dough to Settle 2 ½ hours, Baking 40 min)

Wheat Bread Ingredients

  • 4 cup of Wheat Flour
  • 1 tsp of Salt (based on your taste)
  • 4tsp of Butter
  • ½ cup of Water
  • ¾ cup of Milk with Low Heat
  • 3 tsp of Sugar
  • 25 tsp of Dry Yeast

Direction

  1. Add milk, sugar and dry yeast in a bowl and keep it separate for 10 min in a hot area.
  2. You can open and see it after 10 min. The yeast will get activated by eating sugar in that gap.
  3. Take a bowl and add wheat flour, salt and butter into it. Mix it well with your hands.
  4. Now add the milk mixture which we kept to settle. Add some water into the mixture. Mix it well. It should be little sticky consistency as in the picture.homemade-wheat-bread-step2
  5. Now you can mix your dough for 15 minutes to make it softer. The time takes you to mix will only make your bread softer while you eat. Take a roti maker stand and do the mixture for atleast 15 minutes without any gap.
  6. Now your dough will come without any sticky on your hand.
  7. Apply some oil on the top of the dough and keep it to settle for 1 ½ or 2 hours in a dry hot place by closing it with some cotton cloth.
  8. Later an hour if you open, you can see that your dough will get doubled up in the bowl. Now make a punch into it and start mixing it again.homemade-wheat-bread-step4
  9. Make it into a role in your roti maker and role it over to get a layers in your bread.
  10. Apply some oil at the bread pan and keep it mixture for 20 minutes without any disturbance. Add some sesame seeds or any seeds to make it interesting. Cover the pan with plastic cover and keep it aside.
  11. Now you can preheat your oven for 10 min at 175 degree Celsius or 350 degree F.homemade-wheat-bread-step5
  12. If you open your bread pan after 20 min, you will see that the dough doubled up again in that bread pan.
  13. Now the mixture is ready to bake. Keep your pan into oven for 40 minutes in the same 175 degree Celsius or 350 degree F
