Crispy and Healthy Vegetable Balls in 15 minutes

Vegetable Balls are one of the favorite Indian snack ever. This is purely made of vegetables, spices, gram flour and rice flour to make to even crispy and tasty.

Vegetable Balls are the famous street food across India. We can find this snack in the North Indian Restaurants which is made of Capsicum, Cauliflower, Potatoes etc. Am sharing here the recipe which is experimented by my own. You can try the mixed vegetables and with some Palak leaves to make it even better in taste.

I prefer to make this snack at the weekend with the pending vegetables of the whole week. I know that fried items are not good for health. But to make it healthy we are adding all the vegetables to grab rich nutrients from it.

These Indian vegetable balls are perfect with your tea time. It is very crispy and delightful in taste. Surely all will enjoy this making at your home.

Tips

  1. Always try to use quick cook vegetables to make your balls with perfect texture.
  2. Main key for this Veg ball is not to add much water into it. We should wait to release water from vegetables.
  3. We should always fry it with low flame to get cook inside as well.

Serving : A whole family (4 to 5 members)

Time : 15 to 20 minutes

Veggie Balls Ingredients

  • 2 Big size Onions
  • 1 Big Carrot
  • Small Piece of Cabbage
  • 1 Big Potato
  • 2 Small Size Green chilli
  • 1 Anise seeds
  • Salt to Taste
  • Chilly Powder
  • 2 tablespoon of Gram Flour
  • 1 ½ tablespoon of Rice Flour
  • Curry Leaves
  • Refined Oil

Direction

  1. Cut all the vegetables into small pieces
  2. Take a bowl and add all the vegetables into it. Add some salt to taste, anise seeds and chilly powder into it.vegetable-balls-step1
  3. Now add gram flour into it and mix it well. Make it settle for 5 minutes. It will release water from the vegetables.
  4. Now add rice flour into the mixture and sprinkle some water to make it as a thick consistency.vegetable-balls-step2
  5. Heat the oil in the pan and add the vegetable balls to get fry.
  6. Now your Tasty and crispy Vegetable Balls are Ready to serve. Serve it with Tomato ketchup.vegetable-balls-step3
