We have our King “Ginger” in our kitchen which is the best source to improve our stamina in a healthy way. Also, we can add-on power to the gravy which we going to prepare today. We can also add Garlic and Small Onions with Ginger to make the best gravy.

Here, I will tell you how to prepare Inji Kulambu with the ingredients available at your kitchen store.

This is also commonly called as Inji Kulambu, Ginger Gravy, Ginger Curry, Ginger Kuzhambu by different peoples around us.

Benefits:

Ingredients for Ginger Gravy:

  • 1 Big Size Ginger
  • 1 Tomato
  • 15 – 20 Small Onions
  • 10 Garlic
  • Lemon size Tamarind
  • 3 tbsp Chilly Powder
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • Mustard
  • Curry Leaves
  • Salt To Taste

Procedure to make Inji Kuzhambu:

  1. Take a thick base pan and place it into a stove.
  2. Once it gets heat, add 3tbsp oil.
  3. Add Mustard once the oil gets heated and start adding Small Onions, Garlic and Curry leaves into it.
  4. Now add 1 Chopped tomato into the pan.
  5. Once the tomato cooked well, add the required amount of salt.
  6. Add Ginger Paste at this stage and cook until the raw smell of ginger goes away.
  7. Add 3 – 4 tbsp Chilli powder and stir well.
  8. Add the tamarind water into the mixture and make it boil for 15 minutes in a medium flame.
  9. Now, our Ginger gravy is ready to serve.
